"Daniel and the Lion's Den" VBS 2019

Saturday, July 20, found many young people gathering at our church, St. Paul Lutheran (Buffalo Creek) for Daniel and the Lion's Den (VBS 2019). They opened the day with prayer, followed by hours of singing, learning in the classroom, reenactments, snacks, crafts, and recreation. The evening began with a pizza supper followed by S'mores around the campfire, and for some, camping overnight in the church basement. While some had to leave at the end of the day Saturday, those that were able to stay, shared their experience through showing the "prayer lion" they created and singing a few of their favorite songs.
